Dr. Beatrice Ross

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jer. 29:11

Rev. Beatrice E. Ross loves the Lord with her whole heart, she accepted the Lord as her Savior in 1981 while at the Beloved St. John Church. She was a member of Second Macedonia for over 26 years, there she could be found faithfully serving in the Sunday School as Superintendent and teacher, chairing the Leadership Education & Training (L.E.T.) Committee, ushering and much more. In addition to working with various ministries, she also established the W.E. (Women Empowered) Women’s Ministry, in 2000. Rev. Ross joined the Thankful Baptist Church in August 2013, where her husband currently serves as Pastor. In addition to First Lady, she is an Associate Minister, Board Christian Education Director, Sunday School teacher and Technology Team Mmeber. She assists and advises where needed.

Rev. Ross was licensed to preach in June 2006 under the late Rev. Dr. Thomas J. Ritter. She is honored to have been called by God and given the opportunity to teach, preach and impact the lives of others with the Word of God.

She earned a B.S. Degree from Drexel University, a M.S.A. Degree from Central Michigan University, a Master of Ministry Degree and recently a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Anderson University’s Clamp School of Divinity (SC), she also earned a Teaching Certificate in Secondary Education from Delaware Valley College. In April 2012, she earned the distinction of becoming a Distinguished Toastmaster the highest honor in the communication and leadership organization, Toastmasters International.

Rev. Ross retired from the Department of Defense after 40 years of employment. There she earned the title of Certified Logistics Practitioner (CLP) in 2001.

She married her college sweetheart Rev. Gregory Ross in September 1986 and they are the proud parents of two sons, Eugene (Andréa), and Evan (fiancé Maryem), and grandmother to Zackai Walter McKinley Ross.
