Dave Almack, Sales, Marketing and Acquisitions Director for the Christian Publisher, P&R Publishing, will share the diversity of hymns in different cultures and how they relate to give a beauty picture of God.
Rev. Gil Hamm Jr, Founder and CEO, will share the stories and background of some of our most beloved hymns and why knowing their background gives a deeper revelation of God.
Participant will eat lunch provided and fellowship
Participants will break into groups and work on a visual exercise.
Dr. Beatrice Ross will share the theological concepts found in hymns and their significance in bringing the believer closer to God.
Pastor Albert Morgan will share the powerful meaning of the lyrics of the hymns and why they matter. This will encourage and challenge today's songwriter to take write lyrics that are meaningful, tells a story and is impactful.

Pastor Troy Chambers will discuss the worship experience for both the young and season believers and explore the challenges each group faces and how knowing hymns can help them cope with them. Challenges such as stress, identity, disappoint, discouragement, relationships, etc.
Dr. Quinton Massey will discuss the benefits of adding hymns to the worship experience. He will challenge the notion that hymns are irrelevant in today's contemporary worship services.
Professor Anthony Walker will discuss the advantages for musicians to add hymns to their repertoire. Musicians will discover how hymns can enhance their skill, broaden their musical horizons and open up new career opportunities.
