Reverend Dr. Albert L. Morgan was born and raised in a humble Christian home in Brotmanville, New Jersey to the lat L.E and Gloria Morgan. His christian experience began as he accepted Jesus as his personal Savior in the family church, Friendship Baptist Church. Bethany Baptist Association of South Jersey and the New England Missionary Baptist Convention helped him in his Christian growth.
He graduated from Glassboro State College (now Rowan University) and Philadelphia College of Bible (now Cairn University). In 1983, he was ordained by the Bethany Baptist Association. In 1986, he was installed as Pastor of Union Baptist Temple in Bridgeton, New Jersey. He sought God's direction in the development of a Christ centered, relevant and worshipping church. For more that thirty-seven years, Pastor Morgan led with a Biblical mandate, a compassionate spirit and a Christlike character. He is a disciple of Jesus Christ who believes in developing more disciples. He is a builder. Under his leadership, the church has built a new edifice and 3.4 million dollar Alms Center. He is a community leader. He has served as an elected President of City Council , the School Board of Bridgeton, the chaplain of Bridgeton City Police Department and the chaplain of Inspira Medical Center. He is the former President of the New England Missionary Baptist Convention, which is the oldest Black Baptist Convention in the United States and the former Chairman of the National Convention of Gospel Choirs and Choruses, also known as the Thomas Dorsey Convention. In December of 2023, Pastor Morgan retired from Union Baptist Temple and earned the designation of Pastor-Emeritus. He currently serves as an Evangelist and the Executive Director of Temple Vision Corporation. He serves the LORD with gladness.
